NRS Freestyle Grab & Go Stick 32″ Black – Grabber, Single Point
SKU: S08847
The NRS Freestyle Grab & Go Stick is a premium quality aluminium walking stick designed to support independence and reduce the need to bend down to retrieve dropped items. It combines reliable walking support with a practical built-in grabbing mechanism, making it a smart choice for people who want a little extra help with daily tasks.
The grab mechanism is operated by pulling a lever positioned conveniently near the ergonomic rubber handle. This opens a spring-loaded jaw at the base of the stick, which can grip small objects such as keys, glasses, gloves or pens from the floor or low surfaces. This feature can be particularly helpful for anyone with limited mobility, back pain or reduced reach, removing the need to bend, kneel or ask for assistance.
The handle has been designed with comfort in mind. The ergonomic rubber grip fits naturally in the hand, helping to distribute weight evenly and reduce pressure during prolonged use. The stick is suitable for both left and right-handed users and can be used indoors and outdoors on a variety of surfaces.
Constructed from aluminium and plastic, the stick is lightweight at just 0.54 kg, making it easy to carry and manoeuvre throughout the day. It supports users with a maximum weight of up to 135 kg (22 st). The ferrule at the base is replaceable, meaning the stick can continue to be used safely even as the tip wears over time, extending its useful life and reducing unnecessary waste.
Finished in a contemporary two-tone black colourway, the Grab & Go Stick has a modern, understated appearance. It is a CE UK CA certified Class I Medical Device, manufactured to EN1985:1998 standards, and comes with a 24-month warranty for added confidence.
Cleaning and care: wipe down regularly using a neutral detergent and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cloths. To disinfect, wipe with a dilute bleach solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow the stick to dry fully before use or storage.
Safety: inspect the stick regularly for signs of wear or damage, including the handle, ferrule, tubes and joints. Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 135 kg (22 st). Take care on slippery or uneven surfaces.
