The NRS Easylift Beech Top Split Top Table is a versatile and practical overbed and chair table designed to support independence and comfort at home or in care settings. Whether you are eating a meal, reading, working on a laptop or enjoying a drink, this table adapts to suit your needs with ease.
The height adjusts smoothly from 74.5 cm to 105.5 cm using a simple lever mechanism – no unlocking or trigger action is required, making adjustment straightforward for those with limited hand strength or dexterity. The split top tilts to one of 5 pre-set angles, allowing you to find the most comfortable position for a range of tasks and helping to reduce unnecessary strain.
The curved base has been specifically designed to accommodate wheelchair users, allowing the table to slide under and position close to the user with ease. Smooth-rolling castors allow the table to glide over both carpet and hard flooring without catching, so it can be repositioned effortlessly throughout the day.
The beech effect table top features a raised edge to help keep items securely in place and reduce the risk of spills or items rolling off the surface. The surface is easy to keep clean – simply wipe down with a neutral detergent and warm water, or use a diluted bleach solution when disinfection is required. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, phenol-based fluids or hot water, and do not place hot items directly on the surface. The table has a maximum heat resistance of 65°C (149°F).
With a safe working load of 25 kg (evenly distributed), this table is suitable for a wide range of everyday items. Do not lean or sit on the table, and take care when moving it over rough or uneven surfaces. When adjusting the tilt, take care not to trap fingers between the fixed and moving parts of the mechanism.
