The NRS Overbed Overchair Table is a versatile and practical daily living aid designed to support independence for people who spend extended time in bed or seated in a chair. Whether used for eating, reading, writing or working, this table brings a stable and adjustable surface directly to the user, reducing the need to reach or strain.

The tabletop measures 60 cm wide by 40 cm deep, providing ample space for meals, books, tablets or paperwork. The dual-column base allows height adjustment from 66 cm to 104 cm, making it suitable for a wide range of standard and profiling beds as well as armchairs and recliners. Both the height and tilt are controlled using simple handwheels, meaning adjustments can be made quickly and without tools – ideal for users with limited dexterity or those managing independently.

The tabletop can be tilted in either direction, allowing the table to be positioned comfortably on either side of a bed or chair. Two raised edges along the tabletop help to keep items such as papers, books or a tablet device in place when the surface is angled. The tabletop features a laminate surface that is easy to wipe clean and has a maximum heat resistance of 65°C (149°F) – please ensure hot items such as plates or cups are placed on a suitable mat or trivet to protect the surface.

Four castors make repositioning straightforward, while two lockable brakes provide stability when the table is in use. For use with divan beds, optional slider feet are included in the box, allowing the base to sit flat rather than rolling underneath the bed frame.

The table is finished in white painted metal with a contemporary design that suits both home and care environments. It supports a maximum load of 10 kg and carries a 24-month warranty for added peace of mind.

Safety guidance: always ensure the table is correctly positioned and adjusted before use. Move the table clear of the user when they are sleeping. Do not exceed the 10 kg maximum load.
