The NRS Nuvo Open Back Toilet Frame is a height and width adjustable toilet support aid designed to assist people who experience difficulty lowering onto or rising from a standard toilet. It is suitable for use at home or in care settings, and is well suited to disabled people, older adults, and those recovering from surgery or managing a long-term condition.

The open back design allows unrestricted access and makes personal hygiene easier to manage independently. The frame can be used alongside a raised toilet seat where additional height is needed, giving greater flexibility to meet individual needs.

Both the height and the width between the armrests are fully adjustable. The arm width spans from 44 cm to 56 cm, making the frame suitable for a wide range of body sizes and toilet bowl widths. Adjusting all legs to the same height ensures the frame sits level and stable, which is essential for safe use.

Constructed from powder coated steel, the frame is built to withstand regular daily use and supports a maximum user weight of 190 kg (30 st). The powder coat finish is easy to clean and maintain, helping to maintain good hygiene standards over time.

Non-slip rubber feet grip the floor surface to keep the frame securely in position. These should be inspected regularly and replaced if any signs of wear or damage are found. An optional floor fixing kit (P63989) is available separately for situations where a more permanent installation is preferred.

Care and maintenance is straightforward. The frame should be cleaned regularly using a neutral general purpose detergent and warm water. For disinfection, wipe with a dilute bleach solution, rinse thoroughly with fresh water, and allow to dry fully before use or storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners or cloths to protect the surface finish.
