The NRS Nuvo Shower Chair is a mobile, height-adjustable shower chair designed to provide stable, comfortable seating for people with reduced mobility who are unable to stand safely during showering. Whether used in a wet room, walk-in shower or over a shower tray, this chair offers a dependable and practical solution for maintaining independence in the bathroom.
The chair is mounted on four fully braked twin-wheel rubber-tyre castors measuring 75 mm in diameter. These castors allow the chair to be moved and positioned easily before use, and then locked firmly in place to prevent any unwanted movement during showering. This combination of manoeuvrability and secure braking helps both the user and carer feel confident throughout the bathing routine.
Seat height is fully adjustable between 40.1 cm and 55.1 cm, accommodating a wide variety of users and ensuring that feet can rest flat on the floor for optimal stability and comfort. The seat width of 48 cm and arm-to-arm internal width of 48 cm offer generous space, making transfers on and off the chair more manageable. The chair supports a maximum user weight of 165 kg (26 st), making it suitable for a broad range of individuals.
The Nuvo Shower Chair is finished in white and constructed with a stainless steel frame, combining durability with a clean, unobtrusive appearance that suits most bathroom environments. The chair is supplied in parts and requires basic assembly, which is straightforward to complete at home.
Overall dimensions: height 757 mm to 907 mm, width 568 mm, depth 589 mm. Product weight: 8.81 kg. This product carries a 24-month warranty for added peace of mind.
Ideal for use in the home, care homes or rehabilitation settings, the NRS Nuvo Shower Chair is a reliable daily living aid that supports safe, dignified bathing for those who need a little extra support.
